Despite suspects being named publicly, no charges were ever filed.
Her family never stopped pushing for answers.

The possibility that he was targeted because of something he knew has never been ruled out.

Are the Cases Connected?

The public and many investigators disagree.
Shared elements include:
- Extreme violence
- Personal targeting
- Limited cooperation
- Delayed justice
- Witness fear
Whether one killer or multiple actors were involved remains unknown.
The Investigation’s Failures
Criticism has focused on:
- Mishandled evidence
- Conflicts of interest
- Lack of transparency
- Witness intimidation fears
Multiple agencies have stepped in over the years, yet major breakthroughs remain elusive.
